Connect your domain at Network Solutions

Two small changes. About 5 minutes.

Do not change MX or email records. Change only the two records below, and your email keeps working.

1. Point www to your new site

  1. Sign in and select Domains in the left menu.
  2. Click Manage next to yourdomain.com, then open the DNS tab.
  3. If a www CNAME record already exists, click the vertical dots next to it and select Edit.
  4. Otherwise, click +Add Record and pick CNAME.
  5. In Refers to, choose www, then type the address in our email in Alias to.
  6. Click Add, or Edit if you changed an existing record.

2. Forward your domain to www

  1. Open yourdomain.com from Domains, scroll to the bottom, and click Advanced Tools.
  2. Click Add Web Forwarding.
  3. Keep the forwarding source set to yourdomain.com itself.
  4. Choose https:// and type www.yourdomain.com in Forwarding Destination.
  5. In Select Forward Method, choose the 301 permanent redirect.
  6. Click Apply, then click Save.

Tip: Network Solutions may ask you to buy forwarding the first time. If you would rather not pay, reply "help me".
