Connect your domain at Wix
Two small changes. About 5 minutes.
Do not change MX or email records. Change only the two records below, and your email keeps working.
Log in to Wix. Forgot your login?
1. Point www to your new site
- Type
- CNAME
- Name
- www
- Value
- the address in our email
- Go to Domains in your Wix account.
- Click the Domain Actions icon next to yourdomain.com and select Manage DNS Records.
- In CNAME (Aliases), hover over the www record, click Edit, then click Got it.
- If there is no www record, click + Add Record, then Got it.
- Type www in Host Name and the address in our email in Value.
- Click Save, then click Save Changes in the pop-up.
2. Forward your domain to www

- https://www.
yourdomain.com - Type
- Permanent (301)
- Reply "help me" and we will handle the bare domain forward for you.
Tip: Wix cannot forward the bare domain to an outside website, so we handle that part for you.
