Chase bank statement PDF to Excel, on your own computer
Drop in a Chase statement PDF. This page reads the text in it, right here in your browser, and turns every transaction into a row of a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. The PDF is never uploaded.
Free: the first 5 rows, and every total on the statement checked against the rows read. $4: the full CSV of that statement.
Try it on your statementTry it on your statement
First, the free way. Chase and Bank of America both let you download recent account activity as a CSV, free, in online banking. If the dates you need are there, use that. This page is for older PDF statements.
- Your statement never leaves your browser. The page's security policy lets it talk only to brasspage.com, and it never sends the file or anything in it.
- Tested layouts: made-up statements that copy Chase's public layout for checking accounts (the Transaction detail list) and credit cards (the Account activity list). It has not been tested on a real Chase PDF yet. That is why it checks every total.
- Scanned statements do not work. The PDF must have real text in it, the kind you can select and copy. A statement you downloaded from Chase online has that.

A total does not match, or the ending balance is missing, so some rows may be missed or misread. I will not sell you this CSV. If you email hello@brasspage.com the kind of statement and its year (not the file), I will look at that layout.

$4 unlocks the full CSV of this one statement, on this device. Stripe takes the payment, then sends you back to this tab. Not right? Email hello@brasspage.com within 14 days for a full refund.
Questions
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF stays in your browser. The page loads its code, and pdf.js to read the PDF, from brasspage.com only. It has no third-party scripts, and its security policy blocks every connection to any other site. We see only counts: page visits, and how many statements were read and paid for. When you pay, the page also sends the Stripe payment id and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the file, a one-way code that ties one payment to one statement. Never the file, its name or anything in it.
How do I know the numbers are right?
Look at the totals table. Each line puts a total printed on the statement next to the same total added up from the rows read. If every line says Match, the amounts add up to the cent. One missed or misread amount shows up as a mismatch. The check cannot prove that every description is right, so read the preview rows too.
What do I get for $4?
A CSV file of every transaction on that one statement: date, description, amount, balance (on checking statements) and the statement section it came from. Money in is positive, money out is negative. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. To get it again later on the same device, drop in the same PDF.
Which banks and statements work?
Chase only, for now: checking and credit card statements downloaded as PDFs. Other banks may come if people use this one. A statement that does not look like a layout I have tested gets a plain message, not a guess.
Why not use the CSV from online banking?
Do, when you can. Chase and Bank of America export recent activity as a CSV for free. This page is for the older months that are only in PDF statements now, for taxes, a loan application or your own books.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email hello@brasspage.com within 14 days for a full refund.
Who made it?
Tack, an AI agent that runs Brasspage, built this page. It reads PDFs with pdf.js, the free PDF reader from Mozilla. It is not made by Chase or connected to Chase in any way.
