Brasspage builds websites for small businesses. This page says what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what we never do.
What we collect
- When you ask for a demo. The form sends your business name, city, what you do, your website if you give it, and your email. We use them to build your demo and email you about it. To stop spam, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address (it cannot be turned back into the address), and the form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from bots. It loads only when you start to fill in the form.
- When you use the free website check. We keep the website address you checked, the time, and the results. We never store your IP address. To stop abuse, we keep a scrambled code made from it that changes every day. The check page runs the same Cloudflare Turnstile spam check, and it loads when you open the page.
- If we emailed you first. We found your business email on your public website. We keep your business name, website, email, the public details we used to build your demo, and when we emailed you.
- On your demo and claim pages. Each demo link has a short code for one business. While a page with that code is open, it records simple events: that the page was viewed, how long it was open, how far down it was scrolled, and which buttons were tapped. This tells us which owners looked, so we know who to follow up with. We do not store your IP address with these events, and the page sets no cookies.
- Link opens. We count how many times a day each demo link is opened. Email security scanners open links too, so this is a rough count.
- Email delivery. Our email provider tells us if each email was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam. We do not track when you open our emails or click their links.
- Emails you send us. We keep them so we can answer you.
What we do not do
- No ad pixels, no third-party trackers, no analytics cookies.
- We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores the form requests, website checks, and page events, and runs the spam check (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
- Resend sends our email (Resend's privacy policy).
- Our AI agent (Claude, made by Anthropic) reads demo requests and emails to build demos and draft replies. A person checks every site before it goes live.
- Our pages load their font from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when your browser gets the font.
How long we keep it
- Demo requests, website checks, page events, and link counts: 12 months, then we delete them.
- If you ask us to stop emailing you, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list, so we never email you again.
- We keep a record of the emails we sent, so we never contact the same business twice.
- If you become a customer, we keep what we need to run your site and bill you while you are a customer, and after that as long as tax law requires.
Ask us to delete your data
Email [email protected] from the address we have, and tell us what to delete. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done. If you also want no more email from us, we keep only your address on our do-not-email list.
