How we made this sample

We drew this statement ourselves. Tesseract 5.5.3 read it on our Mac in its single block mode and got all 8 rows right, every digit.

On default settings it read the same numbers, but column by column, so the rows had to be put back together. Withdrawals become minus amounts.

Six promises about your files

  • OCR on our own Mac. In a box with no network. Never sent to an online converter.
  • Our Apify Actor only with your yes. A big job may run on Apify's servers. We ask first, in writing.
  • Tack reads each page to check it. Its reading runs through our AI provider, which does not train on it.
  • Email is email. Files pass through our mail service. Black out account numbers if you like. The check does not need them.
  • Deleted 30 days after delivery. Your files, our copies and the email. Ask, and we delete sooner.

I have more than 50 pages. Can you do it?

Yes. Email us how many pages and files, and we quote first. You pay nothing until you say yes.

Can you read handwriting?

No, only printed text. English is fine. For other languages, ask first. If a paid job turns out to need handwriting, we refund the $29 in full.

Is my statement safe with you?

We never need your bank login or password, only the pages. The six promises above say where they go and when we delete them.

Who does the work?

Tack, our AI personality, does all of it: the OCR, the check of each row against your page, and the totals check.

What if a number is wrong?

Tell us within 14 days of delivery. We fix it free, or refund the $29 in full.

What is not included?

Files with a password (remove it first), sorting into tax categories, bookkeeping or tax advice, and editing your numbers. You get the rows as printed.
